Dear Diary!
Me and Susan were helping Mrs Beaver with dinner. We filled the kettle with water, layed the table, sliced bread and did a lot of other 'dinner' things. I thought, that the Beavers' house is very cozy, but it wasn't like the house of Mr Tumnus. There weren't any pictures on walls or book on shelves. There were many rubber boots, raincoats, shears, spades, rods and fishing nets on walls. And tablecloth on table was clean, but rough to the touch.
When grease on the pan began to sizzle, Mr Beaver and Peter came back with fishes. Susan drained potatoes and I put trouts on the plate. We moved the stools to the table and started a feast. When we finished eating fish, Mrs Beaver took out from oven a big strudel with marmalade and gave us cups of tea. Then Mr Beaver said, that we colud take care of our cases now. I asked him for telling us, what had happened with Tumnus. I was pretty worried about his fate, because he was a first friend of mine in Narnia. Mr Beaver said, that faun had been taken by the police to White Witch's house and probably had turned into a stone. I tried to think of some idea of releasing the faun. Mr Beaver told us, that there was no point in it and we had to wait for Aslan, so we asked him to tell us something about him. That's what Mr Beaver told us about Aslan: 'he is a King of Narnia and he is Lord of forest, but he isn't here very often. News came, that he came back and is already in Narnia. Only he can deal with White Witch and only he can save Mr Tumnus. He will fix every wrong, just like an old poem says:

Wrong will be right, when Aslan comes in sight,   

At the sound of his roar, sorrows will be no more,

When he bares his teeth, winter meets its death

And when he shakes his mane, we shall have spring again.

Susan asked if we saw Aslan and the answer was 'yes'. Mr Beaver had to introduce us to him - Lion Aslan. I was frightened and I didn't know if Aslan is dangerous. Mrs Beaver reassured me, that Lion was dangerous, but good King. Her husband told us, that we would see Aslan tomorrow at the Stone Table. Then we will save Mr Tumnus. He-Beaver told us another old poem:

When Adam's flesh and Adam's bone
Sits at Cair Paravel in throne,
The evil time will be over and done.

He also said, that there was another prophecy: in Cair-Paravel - castle situated on the sea shore - there are 4 thrones. When two Adam's Sons and two Eva's Daughters will seat on these thrones, the end of White Witch's controlling and life will come.
I was so engrossed in Mr Beaver stories, that I forgot about present. Suddenly, I realized that Edmund isn't with us! We all ran out of house and started calling him, but the snow was so thick, that it was not even an echo. When we came back to the Beavers house, He-Beaver said, that we had to get underway as fast as we can. Peter suggested sharing into the groups and diverging into diffrent directions. Animal said, that there was no point in it, because Edmund had revealed us and had gone to White Witch's house. We were all schocked and we couldn't believe it. Unfortunately, it was true. My brother was in Narnia once and probably he met White Witch. Peter decided to go and find him, but Mrs Beaver forbade him, because Witch wants that - to have all of us in her palace. Just Aslan can help us. We determined, when Edmund could ran away and decided to get underway as fast as we can.
